NANCY JOHNSON

Owner/Founder of Lake Town Property Management

Real estate, home building and rental properties have always been an interest of mine. Once my husband and I completed building our dream home in 2012, we decided to move onto our next project- invest in a rental property in Gimli.

As I dove deeper into the rental market and familiarized myself with the ins and outs, I decided to take this growing passion of mine and turn it into a business.

As the Owner and Founder of Lake Town Property Management, I use my skills and experience to help homeowners turn their property into a successful rental investment.

Do you have…..

a secondary home that is currently vacant and you are unsure what to do with it?

a cottage that is no longer used?

the desire to own an investment property?

Lake Town Property Management is here to help.

In 2016, we purchased our first rental property as a long term investment and with that came a huge learning curve.  With my family settled in our new home and the rental property off and running, I decided to permanently leave the security of my teaching job to become a Rental Property Manager.

In the summer of 2018, I met with my first clients who were looking to rent out their cottage as a long term rental. As I got more involved in my business and made connections with others, I began to see there was a need in my community for someone to manage investment and rental properties.

Entrepreneurship has always been a goal of mine. But, taking a safer route seemed like a good idea and I attended the University of Winnipeg to obtain my Bachelor Of Education and began my teaching career in the Interlake, where I grew up.  Becoming a teacher was a dream job and I loved it!  As my family grew and my husband and I built our dream home in Gimli, MB, I decided to leave teaching and focus on family.
